« This bike has won several design awards and is featured in Capital (M6), where I describe the user-centered design process that justifies the design of this bike and contributes to its commercial success.
Almost 20 years after my first sketches and a few million bikes sold, it is always a pleasure to see these bikes in stores and cross them frequently on roads and paths. Over the years, the design of the original B’twin has evolved by touch thanks to the talent of successive inhouse designers who have preserved the original concept. At the time (1998), the observation of users was already well anchored in the design methodology of Decathlon. This set a trend and to this day continues to give relevant and innovative products, as well as maintaining a lasting emotional connection between users and brands of Decathlon. »
